I'm SUPER excited to share a fun creation I just made. Rolo ® Wrappers are a quick and easy way to celebrate throughout the school year. There are even a few cute ones for the end of the year that I will definitely be using. Here's a quick picture and link to my product.

Spelling Bee Certificate {FREEBIE!}

Here's a little freebie for you. Do any of your schools or districts have Spelling Bees anymore? I love the charm of the Spelling Bee, but I put a little differentiated "spin" on it to help out my students with special needs. Nobody has to see the list of words you're selecting from, right? I make sure EVERYone lasts a few rounds to earn their certificate. :) Spelling Bees are perfect for the end of the school year, as a review of all the spelling words introduced during the year. To get your free Spelling Bee Certificate, visit my Teachers Pay Teachers store by clicking this link: Spelling Bee Certificate Freebie

Scrubbed, Wrapped, and Ready...St. Patrick's Day is here!!

Mmmmm! The baked potatoes are all scrubbed, wrapped, and ready all for our school staff's annual Baked Potato Bar Luncheon tomorrow. St. Patrick's Day is a holiday I look forward to each year. The tradition of the Baked Potato Bar Luncheon goes back a long way, probably 15 years! Our school is fortunate to have a social, friendly staff that enjoys any reason to celebrate--Super Bowl Luncheon, a Potluck Nacho Bar, treats for Boss's Day and Secretaries' Day, and our annual Holiday Secret Santas. I think that the stresses we face as educators can lessen when we collaborate, laugh, share a meal, and come together as a staff. Celebrations and rituals are what tie us together, helping us remember that we are not alone in our school. How are you celebrating St. Patrick's Day at your school? What are the fun traditions that your school staff members look forward to each year? If you can't think of any, perhaps you could start a Social Committee and think of some creative ways to celebrate during your school year. It's worth a try!
